How do you pull off a sit-down VIP luncheon in the stifling 40-degree heat of the remote outback when there are no practical venues to host one? Bring in a super-sized, air-conditioned pavilion, of course!
We were up for the challenge when the Union Reef gold mine approached us to create something memorable for their launch – onsite, a short distance from Pine Creek. The guest list was a veritable who’s who of the resources sector, including Parliamentarians, government officials and VIP stakeholders.
We literally trucked in everything – from the giant pavilion and a kitchen pavilion to generators, audio/visual, furniture, carpet, tableware, and a tailored menu showcasing the finest Territory produce.
We managed it all – the site set-up plan, the run sheet, the invitation list, the seating plan, catering coordination, and media releases. It was a fantastic success, culminating in photo opportunities to hold the mine’s very first gold bar!
